Bridge House Residential Home
Bridge House is a purpose built residential care home for the elderly which is owned and run by Cheryl Lawrence.
It was designed by the Parnells who built it in the grounds of their cottage beside the River Frome. It first opened its door to residents in 1991.
The standards of 24-hour care are high. All care staff are trained and/or experienced in caring for the elderly. The doctors’ surgery is nearby. Access to and within Bridge House is easy for all. There are two personal rooms on the ground floor and fourteen on the first floor. There is a lift with fully automatic doors. All rooms have fitted carpets, a vanity unit, TV socket, emergency call system and are wired to accept a personal telephone as the resident wishes.
The patio, gardens and grounds overlooking the river, are for everyone’s enjoyment and relaxation.
